Currently, I am a middle school language arts educator at Eagle County Charter Academy. I am highly qualified in secondary English and have my Masters in Education for Administration and Supervision. I am in my 13th year of teaching and embrace each new day with curiosity and the willingness to take risks! Being a board member, teacher mentor, and ambassador for Children's Global Alliance is and will be a constant part of my life. Traveling to Cambodia and Nicaragua the past four years has opened my eyes to the opportunity for change, not only in the poverty-stricken country itself, but within my student volunteers. Each day I thank God for these wonderful opportunities. I thank my family and son, in advance, for supporting me while I'm gone.
